Nigerian Education Loan Fund
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund provides loans for eligible students pursuing higher education. In a statement dated 29 May 2026, the Presidency reported that more than 1.5 million students had received access through the scheme, with over ₦282 billion disbursed.

Tax reform
Four tax reform laws signed
On 26 June 2025, President Tinubu signed four tax reform bills passed by the National Assembly. The laws cover tax administration, revenue service restructuring and coordination between revenue authorities.

3MTT
3 Million Technical Talent
The 3MTT programme aims to develop Nigeria’s technical talent pipeline. Its programme page reports that the first phase selected 30,000 fellows across the 36 states and the FCT.

Coastal highway
Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway, Phase 1 Section 2
The State House reported the close of US$1.126 billion in financing for Phase 1, Section 2 of the highway. The section is planned to cover approximately 55.7 kilometres, connecting Eleko in Lekki to Ode-Omi.

In its 29 May 2026 statement, the Presidency reported that the Renewed Hope Housing Programme and the Federal Housing Authority were delivering more than 10,000 housing units across 14 states and the FCT.

Tudun Biri
Tudun Biri resettlement scheme
The Office of the Vice President reported the commissioning of the Tudun Biri resettlement scheme in Kaduna State in January 2026. The report stated that the site includes 133 completed housing units and a school facility.
